City of Syracuse Begins Search for Clinton Square Tree

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The City of Syracuse Department of Parks, Recreation, and Youth Programs announced today that it has begun its annual search for a tree to serve as the centerpiece of the Clinton Square holiday display. The tree will take center stage for the annual Home for the Holidays celebration and tree lighting ceremony on Friday, November 28.

The tree needs to be a Norway Spruce that measures at least 45 feet tall and must be located in the residence’s front yard to facilitate removal. The tree must be away from power lines and near a main access road.Parks & Rec logo_reduced

If members of the community have a tree they would like to submit for consideration, they are encouraged to contact the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Youth Programs at 315-473-4330.
