Syracuse University “Coming Back Together” September 18 – 21, 2014

Started in 1983, Coming Back Together (CBT) was the first reunion of its kind in the nation. It brings African American and Latino alumni back to campus to celebrate their many accomplishments and to experience Syracuse University’s growth and change. It also exposes current students to these important role models.

Workshops and panel discussions involving Syracuse University Alumni and others the following samples of the 2014 edition of Coming Back Together career enrichment events; Carving Through Borders: Discrimination, Immigration, and Citizenship; 100 DAYS TO ORGANIZATIONAL EXCELLENCE- Teach the national leadership of fraternities and sororities on how to create a strategy, develop realistic initiatives, and implement a monitoring system to endure accountability. Branding and the Millennial Woman; Managing Successful Nonprofits and Public Charter Schools: Lessons from the Field; How to Overcome MBA Admissions Challenges; How to Rise to the Bench: Federal and State; Careers in Entertainment; Charter Schools – School of Education These are just a few of many more workshops and events are planned for this event.

The Community Folk Art Center is hosting “Coming Back Together Alumni Exhibition” Opening Reception Saturday, September 20, 2014; 3:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. Community Folk Art Center, 805 E. Genesee Street 315-422-2230 for more information about the exhibition.
