Alliance Network Endorses Mayor Miner for Re-Election

SYRACUSE, NY – On September 5th , standing with community leaders, business owners and members of the faith community, Mayor Stephanie A. Miner received the endorsement of the Alliance Network in front of the Southwest Community Center on Syracuse’s Southwest side.

In introducing Mayor Miner, Alliance Network President Walt Dixie called the mayor someone who looks forward and not backwards. “I commend the mayor and her leadership on so many issues. This mayor is committed to building this neighborhood up. I’m proud of her for what she’s done in this community – 50 new homes built in this neighborhood, a full credit union here – these are initiatives made possible by this mayor. She closes the deal.”

“We need to work together to be a force for good to move our city forward,” Mayor Miner said.”Together, we are helping build and renew a vibrant neighborhood. We are making sure we’re paying attention to the business owners in this corridor, making sure we have a vibrant community center that is the center for the entire community and making sure we have good homes for people that they can afford. You need an entire community across the board to do that, and I’m thankful to be joined by so many who are helping to make our community a brighter place.”

The Alliance Network’s mission is to improve the quality of life in Central New York politically, socio-economically, educationally and spiritually.
