Annual Event Draws Hundreds of Families to Enjoy Interactive Displays of City Vehicles and Other Big Trucks
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The City of Syracuse will host its annual “Big Rig Day” at Burnet Park on Saturday, May 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., this year with more trucks and displays to enjoy.
Children and their families can climb in behind the big wheels and view some of the City’s big trucks, and other rigs from area companies and organizations. Scheduled to be on site include DOT Foods, GC2 Gymnastics Tumblebus, Lan-Co, National Grid, Rural Metro, American Truck Historical Society and the new Big Yellow Fellow. Among other attractions will be the new FUN ZONE with pony hop races, giant life size games and activities.
Admission to Big Rig Day is free. Refreshments will be available at a small price. Big Rig Day will be made possible through the support of Price Chopper and Total Care, a Today’s Options of New York Health Plan.
