Black History Fair at Frazer March 1st 5:30 – 6:00 PM

The March 1st event is Frazer’s monthly family engagement night, where family members, community members and the larger Syracuse community are invited to the school to celebrate and honor the students honorees at the school’s Black History Fair.

The Black History Fair will take place in the Frazer auditorium, 741 Park Ave.

Frazer scholars having been working diligently on projects that highlight and honor Black men and women of the African diaspora that have made positive impacts on society in hopes to share with the community their research. In the K-5th grade classes, scholars have been working collectively to research and honor a Black person who they feel have made positive impacts to society.

At the middle school level, students have been working independently, in partners, or in small groups. All of their Black Candidates range from well-known celebrities, to lesser known honorees from history and members of the community or family members. They represent a wide range of career fields such as scientists, mathematicians, inventors, writers/authors, actors, musicians and more.
