Busy Weekend for Syracuse Police: Shots Fired, Large Fight, and Stabbings

Shots Fired on Park Ave. – May 22, 2021 at about 10:40 P.M. Syracuse Police Officers responded to the intersection Park Ave. and Wall St. for a call of shots fired. During the course of their investigation, they learned that a 22-year-old male victim sustained a graze wound to his back during that incident. His injury in considered non-life threatening, and he refused medical treatment. There is no suspect information at this time.

Large Fight Reported on John Street – May 22, 2021 at about 11:40 P.M. Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 200 block of John St. for a call of a large fight. During the course of the investigation, they learned that a 32-year-old male victim had been dropped off at St. Joseph’s Hospital in a private vehicle with stab wounds to his face. His wounds are considered to be non-life threatening. There is no suspect information at this time.

Stabbing Reported on Richardson Ave.- May 23, 2021 at about 12:54 A.M. Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 100 block of Richardson Ave. for a call of a stabbing. Upon their arrival, they met with a 33-year-old male, who had a large laceration on the back of his head. He was unable to provide the exact circumstances of the incident at that time. He was transported to Upstate University Hospital by AMR Ambulance for his injury, which is considered to be non-life threatening. There is limited suspect information at this time.

SPD Respond to Large Fight Call – May 23, 2021 at about 12:56 A.M. Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 700 block of S. Crouse Ave. for a call of a large fight. During the course of their investigation, they learned that two males; both 26 years of age had been stabbed once in their abdomens. They were transported by AMR Ambulance to Upstate University Hospital. Their injuries are considered to be non-life threatening. There is limited suspect information at this time.
