InterFaith Works of Central New York Agency Appoints Interfaith Initiatives Director

Syracuse, NY– Bishop Colette Matthews-Carter was appointed by InterFaith Works of Central New York to serve as its director of Interfaith Initiatives. Among her chief responsibilities, Matthews-Carter oversees chaplains and chaplaincy contractual obligations with area hospitals, nursing homes, and correctional facilities, as well as provides consultation, interfaith education, dialogue, and training to promote interfaith understanding.
