City Issues Traffic Advisories for Polish Festival and Duck Race to End Racism Weekend Events

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The City of Syracuse Department of Parks, Recreation, and Youth Programs issued traffic advisories today for the upcoming Polish Festival in Clinton Square from Friday, June 10 through Sunday, June 12, and the Duck Race to End Racism on Saturday, June 11 in the Lakefront neighborhood.

Traffic Advisory — Polish Festival
The Polish Scholarship Fund will celebrate its annual Polish Festival in Clinton Square on Friday, June 10, through Sunday, June 12.

In order to set up, present and break down for the Polish Festival, the following streets will be closed according to the timeline listed:

  • West Water Street, between Salina and Clinton Streets – 6:30 a.m. on Friday, June 10, through early Monday morning, June 13
  • Erie Boulevard West, between Clinton and Franklin Streets – 6:30 a.m. on Friday, June 10 through early Monday morning, June 13
  • Clinton Street, between Genesee and Washington Streets – 6:30 a.m. on Friday, June 10, through early Monday morning, June 13
  • The 200 block of West Water Street will be made two-way from Friday, June 10 at 6:30 a.m., through Monday morning, June 13

 

Duck RaceTraffic Advisory – Duck Race to End Racism

On Saturday, June 11 — Kirkpatrick, from Van Rensselaer to Solar Streets, will be closed from approximately 12 noon to 5 p.m.
