City Issues Traffic Advisories for Weekend Festivals in Downtown Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The City of Syracuse issued the following traffic advisories today in advance of three weekend festivals: the Northeast Jazz and Wine Festival in Clinton Square, the AmeriCU Syracuse Arts and Crafts Festival happening in Columbus Circle, and the Blue Rain ECO Festival, which takes place in Hanover Square.

The following streets will be closed for the AmeriCU Syracuse Arts and Craft Festival:

  • The 200, 300, and 400 blocks of Montgomery Street, from Madison Street to E. Washington Street, will be closed from 6:00 AM Friday, July 29, through 10:00 PM Sunday, July 31
  • The 200 and 300 blocks of E. Onondaga Street, from S. State Street to S. Warren Street, will be closed from 6:00 AM Friday, July 29, through 10:00 PM Sunday, July 31
  • The 200 and 300 blocks of E. Jefferson Street, from S. Warren Street to S. State Street, will be closed from 6:00 AM Friday, July 29, through 10:00 PM Sunday, July 31

The following streets will be closed for the Northeast Jazz and Wine Festival:

  • 100 block of West Water Street, between Clinton Street and Salina Street, from 6:00 AM on Thursday, July 28, through Sunday morning, July 31
  • Clinton Street, from West Genesee Street to Washington Street, will be closed from 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 28, through Sunday morning, July 31
  • Erie Boulevard West, between Clinton Street and Franklin Street, will be closed from 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 28, through Sunday morning, July 31
  • 200 block of West Water Street, between Clinton Street and Franklin Street, will become a 2-way from 1:00 PM Thursday, July 28, through Sunday morning, July 31

Due to the Stage of Nations Blue Rain ECOFest, the 100 block of East Genesee Street, through Hanover Square, will be closed at 7:00 AM on Friday, July 29, and remain closed through Sunday morning, July 26.
