City Issues Traffic Advisory for Irish Festival

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The City of Syracuse announced today the street closure schedule for the 2016 Irish Festival, taking place in Clinton Square on Friday, September 9, from 12:00 noon to 11:00 p.m. and on Saturday, September 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Street Closing Schedule:

  • West Water Street, from Clinton Street to Salina Street, will be closed at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 8, through late Sunday morning, September 11.
  • Erie Boulevard West, from Clinton Street to Franklin Street, will be closed from 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 8, through Sunday morning, September 11.
  • Clinton Street, from Genesee Street to Washington Street, will be closed from 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 8, through Sunday morning, September 11.
  • West Water Street, from Clinton Street to Franklin Street, will become a two way from 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 8, through Sunday morning, September 11.
