City Issues Weekend Traffic Advisory for Annual Juneteenth Festival

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The city of Syracuse Department of Parks, Recreation, and Youth Programs issued a traffic advisory for the Juneteenth festival happening this weekend. The festival will host their parade from the Dunbar Center, 1453 South State Street, to Clinton Square on Saturday, June 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Please expect delays.

The following streets will be closed for the Juneteenth festival.

West Water Street, from Clinton Street to Salina Street, will be closed at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, through late Sunday morning, June 18.

West Water Street, from Clinton Street to Franklin Street, will become a two-way from 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, through late Sunday morning, June 18.

Erie Boulevard West, from Clinton Street to Franklin Street, will be closed from 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, through late Sunday morning, June 18.

Clinton Street, from Genesee Street to Washington Street, will be closed from 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, through late Sunday morning, June 18.
