The City of Syracuse Innovation Team is hosting a Snow Safety Summit to solicit input from the community to use for developing long-terms solutions to the snow removal process. The event is free to attend and will be held in an open house format. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
The i-team will facilitate several stations, including identifying problem areas for snow removal, giving feedback and ideas for how sidewalks can best be kept clear, and how to have fun in a snowy climate.
There will also be a station where the community can vote for the i-team’s 2018 priority area. Online Innovate Syracuse voting has been extended to the end of the day on Feb. 16.
The six options, which were top issues from the idea submission period in January, are:
- Alternative Transportation
- House Stability
- Neighborhood Beautification
- Neighborhood Business Districts
- Sidewalks
- Sustainable and Renewable Energy
Date: Thursday Feb. 15, 2018
