City of Syracuse to Report Deer Management Program Results

The City of Syracuse Administration will update the Common Council on the results of the 2019-20 deer management program. The City was one of five municipalities in Onondaga County that conducted a program this past winter to reduce the overpopulation of deer. The program, authorized by Mayor Walsh and the Council, was developed in cooperation with a citizen’s advisory group.  It was approved by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and funded by Onondaga County.
