‘Confident We Will Meet the Last Criteria in Terms of Testing for a Restart’ County Executive Ryan McMahon’s Daily Briefing May 11 2020

Universal Testing will occur at Syracuse Community Health Center. Thursday and Friday Mobile testing will begin at the WIC parking lot at the former Nojaim’s Brothers supermarket parking lot, 307 Gifford St. (must present I.D.) Part of Onondaga County’s proactive testing policy. There will be broader testing as the county moves toward meeting New York States mandated goals for opening. Onondaga County Executive J. Ryan McMahon ‘s confident we will meet the last criteria, in terms of testing, for a restart. “We’re averaging about 13 ½ is our community spread number. It’s a pretty solid week if we can stay around those numbers.”

Governor Cuomo outlined a plan to reopen New York State. “Our plan focuses on getting people back to work and easing social isolation without triggering renewed spread of the virus or overwhelming the hospital system.”
