Consensus to Host Public Meetings in Salina, Camillus and Syracuse

Syracuse, N.Y.,  – Consensus, the Commission on Local Government Modernization, will hold four more public meetings from Monday, Feb. 8 to Thursday, Feb. 11 in Salina, Camillus and Syracuse.

 

The meetings are open to the public and being held to gather comments and input on the Consensus Options Report and Preliminary Committee Recommendations, which was published last month.

Individuals have until Wednesday, March 16 to provide their input. At that time, the commission will review and consider all public comments and issue its final recommendations in spring 2016.

Consensus was launched in 2014 as a collaborative effort among community, business and political leaders with the goal of shaping a vision for more effective and efficient governance across Onondaga County.
