Furnish and install exterior electrical service (including utility fees) and connection for prefabricated water treatment building.
Contract Documents, including Advertisement For Bids, Information For Bidders, Labor and Employment, Additional Instructions, Bid Documents, Agreement, General Conditions, General Requirements, Specifications, Contract Drawings and any Addenda, may be examined at no expense at the office of Barton & Loguidice, P.C., 290 Elwood Davis Road, Liverpool, New York 13088, or at the Village Office, 210 West Main Street, Elbridge, New York 13060, as well as the MHC/ReproMAX, Dataflow and Syracuse Builders Exchange. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained from Barton & Loguidice, P.C., upon deposit of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each set. Any Bidder upon returning such set in good condition within thirty (30) days following the award of the Contract or the rejection of the bids will be refunded his payment, and any non-bidder upon so returning such set in good condition will be refunded Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00). Checks only shall be made payable to Barton & Loguidice, P.C.
CASH DEPOSITS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. ALL HANDLING COSTS (MAIL, DELIVERY SERVICES, ETC.) SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BIDDER.
Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percentum (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders, as well as a Statement of Surety’s Intent. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof.
This is an exempt capital improvement project, and Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials which are to be incorporated into the work and which are to be separately sold by the Contractor to the Village of Elbridge prior to incorporation into the work of the Contract.
The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract.
The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids.
The project may be funded by assistance from a federal program. Bidders will be required to comply with certain Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise – Equal Employment Opportunity (M/WBE-EEO) criteria and other programs required. The project may
also receive Federal Funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). Bidders will be required to comply with requirements of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program and the Buy American provisions of Section 1605 of the ARRA. A portion of this project may be funded by the Onondaga County Community Development Office. Bidders will be required to commit themselves to a goal for minority business participation in this Contract.
