Vaccine Phone bank will be open beginning Monday at Noon
Syracuse, N.Y. – Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon today announced a new phone number for homebound seniors to call to begin the process of scheduling their COVID-19 vaccine. This is for seniors who are not already connected with a homecare agency. Beginning Monday at Noon until 4PM, seniors can call 315-679-4099. Seniors who call this number will not be scheduling their vaccine, but providing the necessary information so an appointment can be scheduled at a later date.
This latest resource for our seniors is part of a comprehensive effort by Onondaga County to ensure our most vulnerable have access to the COVID-19 vaccine.
Onondaga County Executive McMahon said, “As eligibility expands and supply of the vaccine increases, my administration remains laser-focused on ensuring our most vulnerable have access to the COVID-19 vaccine.” McMahon continued, “This addition of this latest resource for our seniors will hopefully give them peace of mind knowing that Onondaga County will ensure they, too, will have the ability to receive the vaccine right in the comfort of their home.” As a reminder, this is only for seniors who are not already associated with a homecare agency.
