Crime Blotter April 10th: Police Respond to Stabbing and Shootings with injuries

Syracuse Police Respond to Stabbing Call-Saturday, April 10th, 2021, at around 1:33 A.M., Officers responded to Upstate Hospital for a stabbing investigation. Upon arrival, Officers located a 28-year-old female who was stabbed multiple times.  The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital by private vehicle, where she is expected to survive. The incident location is reported to have been in the 1400 block of S Salina Street.

Shooting with Injuries Reported – Saturday, April 10th, 2021, at around 1:30 A.M., Officers responded to Crouse Hospital for a shooting with injuries investigation. Upon arrival, Officers located a 31-year-old male who was shot in the foot.  The victim was transported to the hospital by private vehicle, where he is expected to survive. The incident was reported to be on the city’s eastside, near Westmoreland Avenue. The investigation is active and ongoing; anyone with information is asked to call the Syracuse Police Department at (315) 442-5222. ​​

Man Shot in Back SPD Responds – Saturday, April 10th, 2021, at around 7:51 P.M., Officers responded to Culbert Street at First North Street for a shooting with injuries call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 26-year-old male who was shot in the back.  The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital, where he is expected to survive.
