Crouse Celebrates Black History Month 2019: Home, Love & Heritage!

Crouse Health’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, held their kick-off event on Thursday, Feb 7th at 11:30AM with keynote speaker Evelyn Ingram, Director, community and Media Relations for the CNY Region of Wegmans Food Markets.  Crouse Health’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee has awarded the 100 Black Men of Syracuse, Inc. their inaugural Community Service Award.

On Saturday, Feb 16 at 10AM, volunteers from Crouse Health will join others at Sandwich Saturday at Lincoln Middle School in support of Al-Amin Muhammad’s We Rise Above the Streets.

On Tuesday February 19th “My Journey” featuring Crouse Health speakers. Special presentations include; Pretty Girls Rock….Simply Because The Have To – Debra McClendon, President and Kayla Green, Jamesville-Dewitt High School Sophomore, featured on NewsChannel 9’s Extraordinary Talent.

Closing out Black History Month, Crouse Health’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee will feature Jaleel Campbell at Crouse Health in the Small Cafeteria on Thursday, Feb 28th from 12N – 1PM.
