Cassandre Henriquez-Kaba of Syracuse, N.Y., has been appointed coordinator of student services and civic engagement in the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry (CSTEP) Program at Syracuse University. Most recently, Henriquez-Kaba was director of high school placement at the Albert G. Oliver Program, headquartered in New York City.
Henriquez-Kaba holds a master’s degree in African American studies from Columbia University.
The Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) is jointly sponsored by Syracuse University and the New York State Education Department. It is an academic enrichment program designed to foster a student’s success in preparing for professional licensure and careers in medicine, law, business, education, science, technology, engineering, mathematics and health. The CSTEP Program is an integral part of the Office of Graduate Preparation Programs.
