Dispute Leads to Shots Fired in Bar Parking Lot

Town of Salina, New York-The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office reports that one person has been arrested after firing a handgun during an argument in the parking lot of a Lyncourt bar in the Town of Salina.

On September 28th, at approximately 1:15 am, deputies responded to the parking lot of Mickey’s Good Time Saloon located at 103 Galster Avenue, after several 911 calls were made about a man firing off a shot from a handgun during an argument with another man. Prior to patrol units arriving on scene, the suspect, along with several other patrons had fled the area. No injuries were reported.

Subsequent investigation by detectives, the suspect was later identified and taken into custody today. Detectives charged Eric Brown, 30 of Woodbury Avenue, Syracuse, with criminal use of a firearm in the 2nd degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree and reckless endangerment in the 2nd degree. Brown was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court.

The investigation is ongoing.
