Syracuse, NY (November 27, 2019) The Festival of Trees, the Everson Museum of Art’s annual ten-day holiday tradition featuring over 100 uniquely decorated trees, wreaths, and special holiday displays, will open to the public December 6. Running through December 15, the series also offers holiday music and dance performances from individuals and groups in the Museum’s Rosamond Gifford Sculpture Court and the Hosmer Auditorium.
In addition to a beloved Syracuse holiday tradition, the Festival of Trees is an important fundraising event consistent with the Everson’s mission to make art accessible to all in the community.
The Festival of Trees begins with a preview gala on December 5 from 6:00-8:00pm. At $75 per person, this year’s event includes hors d’oeuvres and desserts, wine and beer, entertainment by Ann Barnes, a Santa photo booth and an exclusive preview of the 2019 Festival of Trees. The gala’s guest of honor is Syracuse native, famed designer and television personality, Thom Filicia.
General admission to the Festival of Trees is $5 for museum members, $8 for non-members. The Festival and the Museum are open Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays 12:00-5:00pm, Thursdays 12:00-8:00pm. and Saturdays 10:00am- 5:00pm. Everson Museum’s year-long first-Friday initiative extends Friday admission on the first of the month from to 12-8 p.m.

This event, offered on two Sundays, reflects a new partnership between the Festival of Trees and the Marriott Hotel. Participation will include breakfast, a visit with Santa, holiday craft making, and an opportunity to buy raffle tickets for gift baskets.
Holiday Luncheon Fashion Show
