Free admission on Wednesdays from 5 to 8 p.m. until March 13
Syracuse, N.Y. – The City of Syracuse Department of Parks, Recreation, & Youth Programs will provide free admission to Clinton Square Ice Rink every Wednesday night, made possible by a sponsorship from Excellus BlueCross BlueShield. The promotion runs from 5 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday from Jan. 9 until March 13, weather permitting.
“Excellus BlueCross BlueShield is pleased to partner with City of Syracuse Department of Parks and Recreation in funding free Wednesday skating in Clinton Square this winter,” said Jim Reed, Regional President, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield. “As Central New York’s largest nonprofit health plan, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield strives to partner with organizations that work to improve the health or health care of the residents of the communities it serves. We are pleased to work with the City of Syracuse in furthering our common goals and ensuring the area residents will have access to free skating and a chance to be physically active during the winter months.”
The promotion only covers admission fees and does not include skate rentals, which cost $3 per person. For more information, contact Clinton Square Ice Rink at 315-423-0129 or visit the Parks website at syracuse.ny.us/parks.
