Faith Community “Prayer and Peaceful Protest” Sunday, June 14, 2020 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM City Hall

On Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 3:00 PM The Faith Community will come together to stand with the residents of our region to speak out against police brutality and the need for reform within our local law enforcement departments. We will also offer prayers and a message of hope to the community.

The lead organizations for this demonstration are ACTS (Alliance of Communities Transforming Syracuse) Clergy Caucus, The IMA (Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance), and NEDBA (The Northeastern District Baptist Association) as well as a host of other Faith Communities.

There are over 60 pastors and congregations signed on to this demonstration. There will be a host of speakers including Black Lives Matter, Last Chance for Change, Interfaith Works, and members of the faith community.

The Faith Community will also issue a joint statement with demands to our elected officials. The entire community is invited. Masks and social distancing are required.
