Become a Certified Lead Contractor

Most Community Development Housing Rehabilitation jobs require certified lead contractors. Onondaga County Community Development is offering FREE Lead Based Paint Training for Contractors and Supervisors. The training runs four consecutive days and is scheduled for Tuesday, March 17 through Friday, March 20, 2009.

Pre-registration is required. The registration deadline is Tuesday, March 3, 2009.

There will be no charge for this training, but a $50 per person refundable deposit is required. The deposit will be returned upon successful completion of this course.

This training is the first step to becoming a certified lead contractor. Following the completion of these classes, contractors must apply for certification through the EPA.
