Halloween Costume Meetup to Feature Syracuse’s Adoptable Shelter Dogs

On Saturday, October 23rd from 10am to 12pm there will be a dog Halloween costume meetup at Carm’s Dog House Park at Ormand Spencer Park (1100 E. Water St). The event will feature adoptable pups in costume from the city’s dog shelter, B&R Bunkhouse.

The event is being organized by the Cuse Pit Crew and Common Councilor Michael Greene.
Cuse Pit Crew is a non-profit organization on a mission to “Refuel the Human-Animal
Connection” in the Syracuse area through community outreach and educational programming, while advocating for pit bulls and other misunderstood breeds.

“This fun event will bring the community together for a great cause. We’re hopeful that together we can help find our city’s shelter dogs a permanent home.” -Michael Greene

All dogs are invited to come join the fun with or without a costume. All humans are invited to meet these costumed adoptable pups and help find them a home.
