Happening Thursday: Miner to Join Local Activists, Healthcare Workers Standing For “Care, Not Chaos”, And To Support the Affordable Care Act

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Mayor Stephanie A. Miner will be joined by local healthcare workers and community activists to support the Affordable Care Act, also known as “Obamacare.” The Mayor and these supporters will have this “Care Not Chaos” rally at the Southwest Community Center, 401 South Avenue, Syracuse, New York 13204 at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2017.

“We have seen the Affordable Care Act succeed in our community, providing healthcare for thousands of people who need it, including young entrepreneurs working at startups, those with pre-existing conditions, and women,” said Syracuse Mayor Stephanie A. Miner. “Leaders in this community, in labor, and in healthcare must do whatever we can to protect the Affordable Care Act from those who seek to undermine it and taking away insurance from 20 million Americans.”
