The Walsh Administration has begun the process of selecting staff for those positions expected to become available in the near future.

The Transition Team Chairpersons for the soon-to-be, Walsh Administration have been announced. These individuals will play important roles implementing processes and procedures as Syracuse prepares for a new Mayor. There will also be committees for city finances, the inauguration, and employment with the new administration.
The co-chairs of the transition team are: Sharon Owens, CEO of Syracuse Community Connections and former Deputy Commissioner of the City of Syracuse; Linda LeMura, President of Le Moyne College since 2014 and first female lay president of a Jesuit college or university in the United States; and Chedy Hampson, CEO of TCGplayer.com, a Downtown-based tech company that employs more than 200 people.
Transition Team Committees
The transition team committees will include individuals with experience in education, business, community leadership, and organized labor. At this time, Transition Team Committee Members have not been announced.
