In First Ad, Katko Highlights Bipartisan Record

Syracuse, New York – Katko for Congress today released its first television advertisement, entitled, “Making a Difference.”  The ad highlights Congressman John Katko’s commitment to bipartisanship and the results he has achieved for Central New York.

The ad, available here, begins airing on area broadcast and cable today.  The transcript of the thirty-second spot can be found below:

I left a job I loved – a job I absolutely loved as a prosecutor – to go to Congress, and I did it because I wanted to make a difference.

What keeps me in this fight, despite all of the partisan bickering out there, is that I have a love for Central New York that is deep in my heart.

I’m proud that I’m continually named one of the most bipartisan and independent members in all of Congress.

That’s how I get things done – by working across the aisle.

I’m doing it because I am making a difference.

Congressman John Katko was first elected in November 2014 to represent the 24th Congressional District of New York, which includes Onondaga, Cayuga, and Wayne Counties and the western portion of Oswego County.
