Since 2006, InterFaith Works, through its Center for Dialogue’s Community Wide Dialogue to End Racism program, has been honoring individuals (youth and adults) who have made a difference in the Central New York community through their commitment and efforts toward addressing issues of racial injustice and promoting social equity. Past honorees include educators, community activists and business people who have channeled their passion and skills into this important work.
The 2015 honorees Francis McMillan Parks, Lisa Alford and Ranya Shannon, will be recognized at the Racial Justice Award ceremony on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at 5:30 p.m. at the Syracuse Stage Sutton Pavilion reception space, followed by the first preview performance of Sizwe Banzi is Dead in the adjoining Archbold Theater at 7:30 p.m. (Click on images to enlarge)
