Tuesday, October 13th, 2015, Jubilee Homes of Syracuse, Inc. will kick off the 1st informational session for their Build to Work program from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the Southwest Community Center (401 South Avenue, Syracuse, N.Y.). The Build to Work Program is sponsored by Senator David Valesky and funded through the New York State Department of Labor.
Jubilee Homes’ Build to Work Program (B2W) was created to address and eliminate barriers to employment for job seekers. We understand that without the necessary education and training credentials needed for a career, including academic degrees, most job seekers would not be considered for jobs that are in high demand. Instead, they risk following a downward spiral and dropping out of the job market entirely. The B2W Program connects participants to academic opportunities (High School Equivalency Diploma & College) as well as skill certifications and training that employers are looking for. These certifications and skills once acquired will increase each participant’s opportunity for employment and/or career advancement. Once participant has met goals set forth in the program B2W staff will assist these participants with job placement.
Space is limited please email firstname.lastname@example.org to R.S.V.P. by Monday, October 12th by 5:00PM. Include B2W Informational in the subject line and provide name, address, contact number. If you are unable to send an email you may contact Jubilee Homes at 315-428-0070 after 5:00PM to leave a message on voicemail that includes name, address, and contact number.
