SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The City of Syracuse Department of Parks, Recreation, and Youth Programs will host a screening of Jurassic Park in Burnet Park this Friday, August 29 at 9:00 PM. The film will be brought to the park in partnership with Nomad Cinema, a local outdoor film screening company.
During a preview tour, a theme park suffers a major power breakdown that allows its cloned dinosaur exhibits to run amok. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and join us next to the ice rink at Burnet Park to watch “Jurassic Park” under the stars. Bacon Bandits will be serving up their delicious menu at 8pm.
“This is an exciting opportunity for Syracuse families to enjoy an offering in Burnet Park,” said Baye Muhammad, Commissioner of Parks, Recreation, and Youth Programs. “Film screenings are just one of a variety of programs we are able to present in our facilities. Burnet Park offers a wide array of activities, from golf to swimming, that the whole family can enjoy.”
On site will be the Bacon Bandits food truck and Recess Coffee. Suggested admission is $5.
