Syracuse, NY- Mayor Stephanie A. Miner has chosen an outdoor location for her public Inaugural Ceremony. The event will be held Saturday, Jan. 9 at 10 a.m. in Clinton Square. The ceremony is free and open to the public.

Councilor at-large Bill Ryan will serve as Master of Ceremonies and Judge Kate Rosenthal will administer the Oath of Office.
The Ed Smith Notable Singers, the ODESA Dance Ensemble and the Living Waters Church of God in Christ Choir will perform.
The Mayor will walk to the ceremony, going from City Hall down Water Street to Clinton Square, accompanied by event participants and the Syracuse Kiltie Pipe Band.
Complimentary refreshments will be served after the event inside The Atrium in Clinton Square.
In accordance with the City Charter, the Mayor was officially sworn in before Jan. 1. She was sworn in by Judge Rosemary Pooler on Dec. 24 at her home.
