The Strathmore Speaker Series is proud to announce that Cold Case Initiative Founder Janis McDonald, will present“Ghosts of the Civil Rights Era: It’s Never too Late for Justice.”, at the Firebarn on Thursday, April 13th, at 7:00 pm. Like all Strathmore Speaker Series events, this presentation is free and open to the public.
Syracuse University’s Cold Case Justice Initiative (CCJI), is currently investigating 196 new cases of suspicious civil rights era killings. CCJI co-directors, SU College of Law professors Paula C. Johnson and Janis L. McDonald, recently delivered the list to Justice Department officials for their review.
