The Transition Town movement started in 2006 with two groups, in Ireland and the UK. There are now over 1,100 initiatives in over 43 countries, including about 20 in New York State. Transition focuses on three key challenges: climate change, reliance on fossil fuels, and global economic instability and crisis.
This event is FREE and open to the public. Attendees are welcome to bring their “Green Bag Lunch” and participate in the conversation.
