Syracuse, NY – This past weekend, the nationally recognized Hawley-Green community took another step towards becoming a neighborhood of choice with the installation of twenty (20) banners. One of the various ways we can continue to increase our quality of life is by celebrating our home(s) and being proud of where we live, work and play.
Hawley-Green has a rich and varied architectural history and is unique in the fact that many classic examples from the nineteenth and early twentieth century still exist collectively today. As with many of their projects, this was a partnership that extended beyond NEHDA.
NEHDA thanks the following: Laura Serway, Cindy Seymour, Joan Farrenkopf, the Central New York Community Foundation, the City of Syracuse, the Hawley-Green Neighbors, the St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center Foundation, PEC (Progressive Expert Consulting), Downtown Decorations and National Grid.
NEHDA is committed to improving and sustaining the quality of life of the residents and stakeholders in the Northside community of Syracuse. To learn more, “like” NEHDA on Facebook and visit www.nehda.org.
