New downtown book group meets in January

A new book discussion group for adults is forming at the Robert P. Kinchen Central Library in The Galleries of Syracuse. The Tuesday Page Turners will meet in the library on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome.

“The Book Thief” by Markus Zusak will be discussed at the Jan. 10 meeting. Copies of the book are available in Onondaga County Public Libraries, http://www.onlib.org, or phone 435-1900.

“The Book Thief” was chosen because it is also the CNY Reads One Book selection for 2012. CNY Reads One Book encourages all residents in the area to read and discuss the same book during the months of January – March and attend programs throughout the community.

The Tuesday Page Turners will meet in the 5th floor Smith Room of the Central Library, The Galleries of Syracuse, 447 S. Salina St., Syracuse. The book group is free and open to the public.

For more information, contact the library at 435-1900.
