County of Onondaga, Department of Water Environment Protection will be holding a Contractor Outreach Meeting for the Clinton CSO Storage Facility Project on April 28, 2011 at I :30 p.m. local time.
The meeting will be held at the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science and Technology (MOST) building located at 500 South Franklin Street, Syracuse, NY. This is a non-mandatory meeting that will introduce perspective contractors to the Clinton CSO Storage Facility Project and will provide an opportunity for the Specialty Contractors, General Contractors, MBE/WBE Contractors and Union representatives to meet.

The Clinton CSO Storage Facility project consists of the construction of a 6 million gallon combined sewer overflow (CSO) storage facility. The storage facility will have three parallel tunnels connected with entrance shafts at each end. There will be aboveground buildings at each entrance shaft that will provide access and services for the tunnels and will contain pumps, piping, valves, electrical, instrumentation, HV AC, plumbing arid associated appurtenances. The project also includes the extension of CSO conveyance piping to the facility, installation of site utilities and restoration of the parking lot and appurtenances. The County has prequalified Specialty Contractors to complete the tunneling and jet grouting work required for the project. The County intends to include Project Labor Agreement (PLA) requirements for completion of the work.
