OCC’s Teaching Restaurant Looking for Its Next Entrepreneur-In-Residence

“With Love” also planning to increase student enrollment and create a second shift

Onondaga Community College’s “With Love” restaurant is looking for its next entrepreneur-in-residence. That person’s national or regional cuisine will form the next menu at the College’s teaching restaurant which is located on Syracuse’s North Side at 435 North Salina Street.

“With Love” opened to the public in 2017. The first two cuisines were Pakistan followed by Burma. Current entrepreneur-in-residence Venus Likulumbi is sharing the cuisine of Savannah, GA. “With Love’s” next cuisine will begin in July.

OCC’s teaching restaurant also has openings for students in the Line Cook discipline. Financial aid is available. “With Love” is presently open for lunch Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s and for dinner Thursday’s and Friday’s. The goal is to increase enrollment enough to create a second shift at “With Love” resulting in the restaurant being open more frequently.

Line Cook information sessions happen twice-a-month at CNY Works, 960 James Street. They are scheduled for the first Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. and the third Thursday of the month at 2 p.m. An entrepreneur-in-residence information session is being planned for May.
