Syracuse, New York– This morning, at the nominating meeting of the Onondaga County Republican Committee, Congressman John Katko (NY-24) was unanimously endorsed in his campaign for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives.
“The Onondaga County Republican Committee is proud to once again support Congressman John Katko,” said Onondaga County Republican Chairman Tom Dadey. “Congressman Katko is fighting for Central New York’s interests in Washington and has consistently delivered results for our community. He fought to ensure local interests were protected in reforming our tax code, has worked tirelessly to end the heroin epidemic, and is a leader on national security and infrastructure. We’re proud to have one of the most productive members of Congress serving our community in Congress and look forward to delivering another overwhelming victory for Congressman Katko in November.”
“I’m humbled to once again receive such a strong showing of support from Chairman Dadey and the Onondaga County Committee,” said Congressman Katko. “Onondaga County deserves strong leadership in Washington, and I’ve worked to deliver results for our community. I’m honored to have once again been given this opportunity to serve Central New York.”
Congressman Katko was unanimously endorsed by the Wayne County Republican Committee earlier this week.
Congressman John Katko was first elected in November 2014 to represent 24th Congressional District of New York, which includes Onondaga, Cayuga, and Wayne Counties and the western portion of Oswego County.
