Onondaga County Traffic Safety Advisory Board Holds Annual “Share the Road” Expo

Syracuse, NY – The Onondaga County Traffic Safety Advisory Board (OCTSAB) will be holding its annual “Share the Road Expo” on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Destiny USA in the Canyon area. This event features education topics such as; school bus safety, bicycle safety, motorcycle safety, teen drivers, senior drivers, child passenger/occupant restraint and much more. Experts from a wide variety of agencies and fields will be on hand to answer questions and demonstrate various traffic safety techniques.

There will be simulated exercises for distracted and impaired driving, a mini bike rodeo, law enforcement patrol vehicles to view, and a variety of additional educational materials available. The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office will also be providing Safe Child IDs.

All ages are encouraged to attend and learn about traffic safety and the issues and responsibilities that everyone faces on the road every day.
