Over the Weekend Police Respond to Shootings with Injuries

Syracuse Police Investigate Taylor St. Shooting with Injuries – Friday, October 2nd, 2020, at around 8:03 P.M., Officers responded to the 400 block of W. Taylor St. for a shooting with injuries call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 38-year-old male who was shot in the foot. The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital, where he is expected to survive. Syracuse Police Investigate W. Lafayette Ave. Shooting with Injuries– Saturday, October 3rd, 2020, at around 4:52 A.M., Officers responded to the 200 block of W. Lafayette Ave. for a shooting with injuries call. Upon arrival, Officers located evidence of a shots fired, and several casings were located. A short time later, a 32-year-old male victim arrived at Crouse Hospital by private vehicle with a gunshot wound to the leg. Moments later, a 47-year-old female was dropped off at Upstate Hospital by private vehicle with a gunshot wound to the leg.
