Police Respond to Shots Fired on McBride St. 16-year-old Victim Taken to Hospital

On Saturday, July 25th, 2020, at around 9:50 P.M., Officers responded to the 1400 block of S. McBride St. for a shots fired type call. Upon arrival, Officers located evidence of a shots fired, and several casings were located. Around the same time, a 16-year-old male victim arrived at Crouse Hospital by private vehicle with a gunshot wound to the midsection.

The victim was transferred to Upstate Hospital, where he is expected to survive. The investigation is active and ongoing; anyone with information is asked to call the Syracuse Police Department at (315) 442-5222 or by using our Syracuse PD tips app.
