Price Rite Has been Raising Funds for Disaster Relief Program Ends Oct 14th

Stores to Collect Donations at Checkout for the American Red Cross Through October 14

Price Rite Marketplace, known for its everyday low prices and shopper friendly format, announced that it will be hosting a disaster relief fundraising campaign throughout its stores to aid the residents of Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, as well as the other areas affected by hurricanes Harvey, Maria and Irma. From October 1 through October 14, stores will be collecting donations at checkout for the American Red Cross, which will directly benefit those in need.

“Price Rite is committed to making a difference in the lives of others, and after seeing the devastation of the communities affected by the recent hurricanes, we, along with our shoppers and team members, knew that we had to do our part to aid in the recovery efforts,” said Jim Dorey, Executive Vice President of Price Rite Marketplace. “While we know that the families affected by the hurricanes have a long recovery ahead of them, we truly hope that the efforts of the Price Rite community will assist them during this difficult time.”

Price Rite is an American company whose mission is to provide customers with a clean, fresh and friendly shopping experience while offering the same quality foods as traditional supermarkets at a bargain price, providing customers with the convenience of warehouse club-style shopping without the membership fees or bulk-buying requirements.
