Syracuse, N.Y. – Syracuse Citizen Review Board Chair Peter McCarthy and Administrator Ranette Releford will discuss the board’s role in the community at a public forum 8-9 a.m. Thursday, March 14at the Syracuse University Nancy Cantor Warehouse in Syracuse.
The forum is hosted by FOCUS Greater Syracuse and Syracuse University as part of the University’s Thursday Morning Roundtable.
The board reviews citizen concerns about police conduct in Syracuse. McCarthy and Releford will discuss the board’s history, how it functions and the relationship between citizens and police in Syracuse, and they’ll be available for interviews following the forum.
