Rally this Morning to Protest Trump Tax Scam

SYRACUSE, NY – Concerned Central New Yorkers will gather for an emergency rally this morning to protest the push for Trump’s Tax Scam outside the Tech Garden at the corner of Harrison and Warren Streets in downtown Syracuse.

On the eve of a very close mayoral election, three of the four candidates will share their opposition to this Republican effort to provide billions in tax benefits to the wealthiest Americans and corporations at the expense of poor and working people.

In addition to mayoral candidates Howie Hawkins, Juanita Perez Williams and Ben Walsh, other speakers include Tom Keck of the CNY Solidarity Coalition, Sharon Owens, of Syracuse Community Connections, Mary Ann Taliercio of the CNY Labor Federation, Andy Mager from local small business Syracuse Cultural Workers and NYS Assemblywoman Pam Hunter.
