Rescue Mission to Serve Hundreds for Easter Celebration

Syracuse, NY– The Rescue Mission is preparing to provide as many as 400 meals on Easter Sunday to those who might otherwise go without.

Free tickets for the meal will be distributed on Easter Sunday at the Alice C. Barber Day Center and Kiesewetter Emergency Shelter, 122 Dickerson Street (across the street from the Food Service Center).

The guests coming for Easter Dinner will have a choice between Boston Baked Scrod or Airline Chicken Breast, Mashed Red skin potatoes and a vegetable medley.

The Rescue Mission served more than 227,000 meals over the last year in Syracuse, providing breakfast, lunch and dinner every day to men, women and children at risk of going hungry.
