SBDC Empowering Entrepreneurship – “Inspiring Success” October Activities

The SBDC works with a range of businesses, from home based, to e-commerce to large manufacturing firms providing information relevant to making well-informed business decisions.

Manufacturing & Distribution for Consumer Products

Discover the path to get your product into the hands of the consumer. This 2-hour workshop will cover a variety of manufacturing and distribution considerations

Topics that will be covered will include:

Fast Track to Business Start Up

This 20 hour class meets the requirements of the Self Employment Assistance Program through the Department of Labor and is open to anyone wanting to get their business up and running quickly.

The class is taught over three days, and includes presentations by an attorney, lender, a representative from the Small Business Administration, an insurance representative, social media expert and an accountant.

The class is taught by a certified small business advisor.

All classes are held at Onondaga Community College, Mulroy Hall

Topics that are covered are:

  • Business plan development
  • Organizational structures
  • Cost analysis
  • Marketing
  • Financial management
  • Financing your business – the options

Time: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on the following dates.

October 11, 13, and 18, 2016
November 15, 17 and 22, 2016
December 13, 15, and 20, 2016

Fee: $125

Current Onondaga Community College Students, Staff, and participants in the RMAP Program can take this class at No Fee.
