Schumer: There’s Room at the Inn – No to Funding Trump’s Wall, Protest Planned for Syracuse Federal Building

People will gather Christmas Eve morning to protest the government shutdown and resist efforts to fund the wall expenditure, as demanded by President Trump. Sponsors including CNY Solidarity Coalition, Syracuse Peace Council and other CNY activists, they released the following statement:

“As many people prepare to celebrate Christmas, Mr. Trump is shutting down the government with support from his Republican cronies. They’re pushing for $5 billion to fund Trump’s Wall of Racism. We will gather to say no, to call on Senators Schumer and Gillibrand to remain strong in opposition to funding the wall and to condemn Rep. Katko’s vote in favor of the funding.”
