SCSD – Corcoran High School to Host 5th Annual Multicultural Festival/ Henninger & Corcoran H.S. Stage Spring Musicals

Spring Musicals: Henninger H.S. “Beauty and the Beast”& Corcoran H.S. Stages “Cinderella”. 

Corcoran High School will host its fifth annual Multicultural Festival on Thursday, March 22, featuring food and performances representing different ethnic groups.

Students will perform Somali and Nepali dances, display photos and artifacts representing their cultures, offer Henna painting and more. Many students will wear attire that represents their native culture. Food will be available for purchase from a variety of nations, including Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Puerto Rico, Central Africa (Congo, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania), Afghanistan and more.

The Multicultural Festival, which will take place in the Corcoran High School Gymnasium (919 Glenwood Ave.) from 1 – 2 pm on Thursday, March 22.
